Baccarat: Player, Banker or Tie
The most-played card game on MegaAraw — at a live table with a dealer, or first-person at your own pace, plus the Bac Bo and Dragon Tiger cousins.
Baccarat rules in a minute
Two hands are dealt: Player and Banker. You bet on which hand will finish closer to 9, or on a Tie. Cards 2–9 count at face value, tens and picture cards count as zero, and an ace counts as one. Only the last digit of the total matters, so 7 + 8 = 15 counts as 5.
Whether a third card is drawn is decided by fixed rules, so there are no decisions to make after you bet. Banker wins are usually paid with a commission; the exact payouts and side bets are shown in each game’s rules.

Questions and answers
Which baccarat bet is best?
No bet guarantees a win. Each game’s help screen shows the payout and return-to-player for every bet, so you can compare them before you play.
What is the difference between live and first-person baccarat?
Live baccarat is dealt by a person in a studio on a fixed schedule. First-person baccarat is digital: the cards are drawn by a random number generator and a round starts as soon as you bet.
Can I follow road maps or patterns?
Road maps show past results for reference only. Every hand is independent, so previous results do not predict the next one.
